
Brand and magazine design for Sagen. Sagen, previously known as Genworth Canada, is the largest private mortgage insurer in Canada. They work to make homeownership easier for first-time homebuyers.

New Brand Guidelines
With Sagen’s new brand release, they required a new brand guideline that would help the company stay consistent. My role was to take the elements of the new logo, font families, and colours that were developed by a brand designer, and develop rules around these elements that would eventually make up the visual language of the brand.



Brand Launch Social Media Campaign
For the release of the brand, I was responsible for all of the social media campaign designs, and a landing page on the new website that describes the story of how Sagen came to be.



HomeOwnership Guide
During this process, Sagen also required a design for their biannual publication that gives seasonal advice to new homeowners. My role was to create a layout that introduced the new brand elements in a cohesive way and included custom illustrations.
