Annual Report
KCS, a private elementary and junior high school, commissioned Art & Science to redesign their annual report with a focus on modernizing and visually elevating their brand. Working within their established brand guidelines, I explored innovative ways to bring the brand to life through contemporary design elements, including infographics, icons, and graphic features that visually represented the school’s core values: Respect Others, Manners, and Try Your Best.
A key design choice involved incorporating right-facing arrows and triangles, symbolizing forward-thinking and progress, which aligned with the school’s vision and created a sense of momentum throughout the report.
This project required a strategic approach to design, balancing creative exploration with adherence to brand standards, ultimately delivering an impactful and engaging annual report that resonated with both the school’s mission and its community.
